This past weekend, I had an amazing session outdoor family portrait session with the Honochick family. We decided on exploring the beautiful estate of Rockwood Park in Delaware. A gorgeous outdoor ceremony was taking place at the Carriage House, so we took advantage of the park’s trails for our session.
If you love fall as much as I do, you’re going to love the landscape and deep tones in the family session sneak peek I’m sharing on the blog with you all today!
This sweet family of four came prepare for their outdoor family session at Rockwood Park. They brought along a red wagon, a cozy knit blanket and plenty of Cheerios for munching on between the scenes. And most of all mom and dad were prepared with plenty of snuggles and bear hugs to go around.
I was able to work in the props they chose for their session, which made for some really sweet and authentic photos of the family simply spending time together. My favorite props were the giant leaves we found on one of walks along the trails in the park.
And of course, we couldn’t end the day together without some portraits of mom and dad together! So, we took the opportunity to squeeze a few couples portraits in; while the kiddos played in the best pile of leaves they could find just outside of our frame.
