How to Use Your Personal Branding Photos in Your Business – and, Why You Need To!

Personal branding photos are an excellent tool to have in your small business arsenal. Sure, the images are beautiful, and they make you look great. But when leveraged correctly, they are so much more. A well-executed personal branding photo gallery has the potential to transform the way you’re perceived by your clients and change the way you connect with them.

Today, I’m sharing my favorite ways to use personal branding photos for my business… and why you need to do the same!

Supercharge Your Social Profiles

Serious business owners know how important it is to engage with their clients on social media. If you’re not on social media in a technology-driven world, you’re likely doing your business a huge disservice. These websites provide a space for you to connect with potential clients in an authentic and meaningful way.

So, what can personal branding photos do for your social profiles? When someone comes across your page, they decide whether or not they want to learn more about you in a matter of seconds. Updating your profile picture with striking personal branding images is a great way to demand attention and keep clients engaged with your brand.

Standing out from the competition is essential to being a successful business owner. Utilizing social media and personal brand photography is one of my favorite ways to do that!

Personalize Your Products & Services

No matter what products and services you offer, you should be using personal branding photos to personalize them. Did you know that 71% of consumers are more likely to buy from a brand they recognize? That means you can’t afford to not be memorable.

There are so many different brands out there, many of which offer similar and sometimes even identical services as you. What’s going to help people remember you over the competition? You guessed it: personal branding photography.

People love to support other people. Showing your true, authentic self helps make lasting connections. These images help elevate your brand in two ways: First, their aesthetic demands attention from your audience, encouraging them to buy. Then, they help make a lasting impression, which encourages repeat customers.

When you advertise your services, use personal branding images to humanize your brand, which helps your clients build trust in you. If you sell products, sending a business card with a lifestyle image adds a personal touch and makes your brand more noteworthy.

Trust me, small gestures like these might seem insignificant, but you’ll be surprised at the tremendous impact they make.

Create a Cohesive Brand Style

Brand recognition is one of the most crucial parts of running a successful business. The ultimate goal should be to create a fantastic brand that customers can easily distinguish from the competition. Personal branding can help you create and maintain a cohesive brand “look” to foster that recognition in your audience.

Two significant parts of creating visual branding involve choosing colors and textures that make up your brand’s imagery. You can use personal branding images to pull these elements together in a visually appealing way.

You might be wondering how well-constructed brand imagery can help you become a more successful business owner. If you’re on Instagram, you probably already know the importance of a nice-looking feed. Brand images are especially ideal for platforms like this since your feed should look cohesive.

Even if you’re not an Instagram guru, creating a cohesive style is still important. It shows clients that you’re serious about the work you do. It also contributes to your brand’s individuality and recognition.

Enhance Your Email Marketing Campaigns

If you’re using email marketing to connect with your clients, you need to be using personal branding photos in your marketing campaigns

It’s undeniable that email is one of the most successful ways to market your business. After all, as much as 91% of consumers check their email once a day.  With millions of people in the world with active email accounts, that’s a vast pool of potential clients!

Enhance your email marketing campaigns with personal branding images that help you connect and resonate with your audience. You can include these images throughout the email or use them at the end in your signature. Your audience will appreciate the personal touch, and you’ll be more memorable for it, too.

Tell Your Brand’s Story

One of my favorite things about personal branding photography is its way of telling a story. Lifestyle photography is all about capturing real moments that make up the fabric of our lives. When it comes to your business, telling your brand story through imagery is the best decision you can make.

Personal branding images don’t just consist of creative headshots. They can go behind the scenes, too. Many business owners showcase what they do by capturing their processes in an image. It’s a beautiful way to show how you do what you do in a captivating and exciting way.

Optimize Your Business Blog Posts

Whether you’re just starting out or you’ve been in the industry for a while, one of the easiest ways to bring traffic to your business is by posting blogs in your niche. Blogs provide an avenue to educate, inspire, motivate and connect with your audience in a relaxed setting.

However, more goes into a blog than stringing a few words together and running a spell check! Keeping readers engaged requires strategic moves like keeping paragraphs short and adding images to break up large bodies of text.

Inserting personal branding images into your blog makes your content easier to digest and encourages readers to read the entire thing so that you can pitch them your services at the end!
