Whew! One thing’s for certain, Hosting a fall portrait mini session is such a fun time for my clients! Despite all the hard work that goes into planning, it always pays off in the end.
My most recent mini session day took place in Valley Forge National Park around the Knox Trail. We didn’t use a styled theme, but chose to work with the fall leaves beautifully colored by mother nature.
I had clients choose to have a 15 minute or 30 minute session with me outdoors. It’s a great way to update your family photos or get a feel for my portrait session and how I flow through the poses.
I was really happy with our portrait location, as well. Valley Forge National Park is truly one of my favorite fall portrait locations. And, it’s just outside of Philadelphia!
As you can see from the photos of the Elfreth family below, we all had a great time. I couldn’t have asked for a better turnout or experience! And it makes me excited for my next mini-session, too!
The Elfreth family was one of my very first portrait clients when I started shooting family portraits in Philadelphia. I can’t believe the’ve grown from a family of three to a family of four in the past few years. So much has changed and I’m so happy we had a chance to catch up!
And these brothers are so sweet with each other. It was a joy hanging out with them and showcasing their brotherly bond in their fall family portraits this year.
