I was so excited to meet this lovely couple for a maternity photography session this past February. Kanesha and Travis were gifted with a portrait session by one of their good friends last month. But when you look at the photos I was able to capture for this growing family, you would never know that we were meeting me for the first time! After sending Kanesha my maternity session questionnaire with portrait session location ideas, she settled on having their photos taken at Riverwinds Park in Southern New Jersey. We had our fingers crossed for beautiful weather as we were experiencing unseasonably warm weather during these winter months; and we wanted to take advantage of that for sure!
Riverwinds Park is a large outdoor attraction with restaurants, boating and endless trails for exploration and beautiful portrait photography. As we drove through the park with our windows down and chatting eagerly about our session plans, we discovered a small shore with beautiful driftwood and a view of the Philadelphia skyline off in the distance. So we made a stop for some quick beach photo and a few seated maternity poses on the driftwood. Then we ventured into the park for photos analog its beautiful trails.
