In the spring, I announced on social media that my family was expecting a baby in the fall. I wanted to pop in and explain why I had gone off the grid for a while. And, we received the sweetest messages of excitement and support. Well, yesterday was my actual due date! However, I actually gave birth to the sweetest, mildest baby three works early, on August 25th at 5:24pm.
We couldn’t believe that I was actually going into labor! That weekend I happened to be in full on nesting mode, my mother was headed over to help me wash all the baby clothing, and I had a game plan for organizing everything in our nursery. And, I still had a host of other things to prep, like packing my hospital bag. Well… my contractions went from 25 minutes apart to 4 minutes apart with an intensity that made it hard to walk! So needless to say, we called our doc and made a made dash for the hospital.
I’m so happy incredibly happy to be home and happily bonding with our newest little squish. I truly can’t wait to share baby Ethan’s newborn session on the blog with you all, but for now I wanted to remember the last nine month’s by sharing some of my favorite maternity session photos with you all!
My maternity photos were taking by my photographer friend Sheronda and her husband Derrick. We actually met at the beginning of our photography careers and share a connection as alumnae of Temple University. So it was truly an honor and a blessing to have them for our session.
Sheronda and Derrick we can’t thank you enough for capturing these photos for us. We’ll cherish them for a lifetime!
By the way, yes I am on maternity leave, which will go on until mid-Novemeber. But don’t worry, I’m still planning to offer my annual Holiday Mini Session Special this October!
I’ll be announcing the fall mini session details on this next week coming, so stay tuned!
