I recently had an awesome Curtis Hall Arboretum family session with the Gray’s . I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again – I truly have the best clients ever! This family was no exception, either. We met up in the afternoon on a mild fall day to capture new portraits. And before we kicked things off, I got a chance to hang with the kiddos and crack a few lame jokes.
Jokes made possible by fancy little family portrait session questionnaire I send out before I shoot every family photo. I won’t get into details, I sure had the kids going for a while about my psychic abilities, lol. Check out some of the photos we were able to capture hanging out at the beautiful Curtis Hall Arboretum just outside of Philly.
I loved shooting at Curtis Hall Arboretum because it offers the best of both worlds in terms of settings. You have beautiful architecture and stately steps for a more formal background. Then, you are surrounded by the spacious open fields and tall, flourishing trees. So if you want to take pictures outdoors, but aren’t drawn to rustic vibes, this is the location for your next family portrait session.
For our shoot, the Gray‘s brought a casual vibe to their session with denim and black outfits. It really spoke to how down-to-earth and fun-loving they are as a family unit, which really made for some amazing photos. You can really tell my the genuine laughter as we added some movement to the second half of our shoot.
It truly was an amazing photo shoot. And if any of you are considering a family session or are prepping for an upcoming session, I have a few dates left for this fall season. Don’t hesitate to reach out to me through my contact form or you can email me directly at ablake@annblakephotography.com.
